What catches learners out
- Pedestrian crossings. Approach at a speed where you could stop, and check for people waiting.
- Matchday traffic. Around the Etihad on event days roads fill quickly and some close — plan lessons around fixtures.
- Right turns. Wait for a safe gap in oncoming traffic; don't feel pressured by cars behind.
How we teach it
Good for practising steady main-road driving with plenty of crossings to anticipate.
