Driving lessons for people who work at Manchester Airport (Ringway, M90). Thousands of people work early and late shifts at the airport. We fit lessons around rotas and pick up from home or work.
Lessons that fit your work
- Shift-friendly: early mornings, late afternoons and days off — tell us your rota.
- Pick-up from work or home — wherever it's safe and legal to stop.
Learning to drive around Wythenshawe & Northenden
M22 covers most of Wythenshawe — one of the largest housing estates in Europe — plus Northenden by the River Mersey, Sharston and Benchill. Wide roads, roundabouts and the M56 and M60 nearby make it a great place to practise everything from basics to faster roads.
Where we pick up nearby
- Wythenshawe Civic Centre / Interchange
- Northenden village
- Manchester Airport (staff pick-ups)
- Wythenshawe Forum
Wythenshawe was designed as a garden city, so it has wide roads, grass verges and lots of roundabouts — ideal for learners. Princess Parkway gives you dual-carriageway practice, and with your instructor in a dual-control car you can even try the motorway before you pass.
Where learners slip up at West Didsbury
- Late lane choice on Princess Road. Multi-lane approaches to traffic lights catch learners in the wrong lane and they swerve late. How we fix it: Read the lane arrows from the previous set of lights and move across early with a full MSM routine.
- Joining the dual carriageway too slowly. Pulling out of a side road onto a 40-feeling road at 15mph forces others to brake. How we fix it: Look early, pick a safe gap, and build speed briskly in second then third gear.
What West Didsbury's routes are like
Routes here mix a fast, multi-lane primary road with dense inner-suburb streets: Victorian terraces lined with parked cars, high streets with crossings and bus stops, traffic-light junctions that come thick and fast, and quieter residential loops used for manoeuvres.
