- Pass in a manual and you can drive manual and automatic cars.
- A wider choice of cheaper second-hand cars.
- Practise in most family cars, which are often manual.
- Clutch control gives precise slow-speed control.
In Didsbury, slow city traffic is the perfect place to perfect clutch control. Later lessons cover city-centre one-way systems, bus lanes, trams on shared streets, the Mancunian Way and busy multi-lane roundabouts — plus quieter residential roads to build confidence first.
