Learning to drive around Sharston
Sharston is part of Manchester, so your lessons build up to the roads learners here meet every day: city-centre one-way systems, bus lanes, trams on shared streets, the Mancunian Way and busy multi-lane roundabouts — plus quieter residential roads to build confidence first.
There's no rush. We'll pick a peaceful spot close to Sharston for your first drives, then build up to the routes you'll use every day. Before your test we'll practise around Cheetham Hill and West Didsbury test centres.
M22 also covers Wythenshawe, Northenden, Benchill — we teach there too.
Every lesson is logged in the free DriveSQ Student Portal, so you can see your progress between lessons.
