Learning to drive around Higher Blackley
Higher Blackley is part of Manchester, so your lessons build up to the roads learners here meet every day: city-centre one-way systems, bus lanes, trams on shared streets, the Mancunian Way and busy multi-lane roundabouts — plus quieter residential roads to build confidence first.
Your first lessons start on quiet residential streets near your pick-up point in Higher Blackley. As your confidence grows we'll move on to busier junctions, roundabouts and main roads. Before your test we'll practise around Cheetham Hill and West Didsbury test centres.
M9 also covers Blackley, Harpurhey, Charlestown — we teach there too.
Every lesson is logged in the free DriveSQ Student Portal, so you can see your progress between lessons.
